Hey' yall...! I know it's been a really long time, but I've been trying to settle down in my new place, set it up, and get going with school. I've also been hooping and trying to get other things going (jobs, school applications, etc). Hopefully everything gets all good soon, because I'd love to get back to posting regularly.
My new classes are fun, except for math, but hah, oh well.
I've just been doing a lot lately, so I apologize once again. :c
I've been in a bit of a creative mood, and I decided to start adding to my design diary. I picked up some really cool fabric at Jo Anns, and I decided to make a couple dresses to prototype some stuff. I'm also thinking about putting up some Flower Headbands in a shop. I think people might like them, who knows. It's just that Fake Flowers are really expensive, and I know for sure that the headbands would be at least $30 USD. Here is one of the ones I am working on. It is not finished, as I am putting spikes on it when they come in, but it is still cute without them. I'm also working on a darker themed one with black roses, a skeleton hand, and a skull, hehe. I suppose I will gauge interest in them, and decide.
On Monday I am hair modeling for my Stylist, Bailey, over at Alchemy Hair Salon in Winter Park. I love that place so much, and I was so honored that she asked me to be her model...! I'm a bit awkward and I've never formally modeled for anything, but I'm quite excited to do so.
Anyway, the rest of that one Tropical Storm Isaac was suppose to come back through Florida, but I think it came through last night. I had a bit of money to shop with for this week, so I thought it would be great to get items for my kit.
I also ordered a couple things in the mail. haha... and I ended up selling a few of my BJDS (my YO-SD Papi, my 2 Bobobie Meis, and my mother sold her To-You Sara), and we got one of those awesome Fairyland a-la-Carte Feeple60s, and our order worked out so we obtained the Nanuri A head as well. We got the Chloe face sculpt, and I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with the Nanuri head just yet. I know I want to get her eyes opened and what not, but my favourite face-up artist stopped doing them... I have another I have in mind, so I suppose I will message her closer to when my wait time should be up. I don't have a name, but I might try to think of one. I really want her to be kind of like my style choice, and maybe more toward the lighter end of my clothing choices. I definitely want to try to put her in Mori, Gyaru, and other fashions. Her only wig for now is a white and wavy one, and it's so pretty. I need to really order at least two outfits, though... I'm waiting on a certain shop to re-open, because it's a big priced shop, but I currently have the money for it in paypal from the dolls, and I've been dying to own something from the owner.

Moving on, today I did end up going to the malls today (they are only about 10 minutes apart really). It was so crowded. It was a bit overwhelming. Oh well, though. I mostly shopping in MAC, just trying to get familiar with a few of the employees as I am trying to work there still. I really hope I can get a job there. Anyway, I spent my spending money there, and got a few things for my kit.
I am really in love with the revamped 15 ES/6 Blush palettes. I was wondering when MAC might do this, since the eyeshadow quads and duos have had the clear front for a while. I think it's really cool that I can just glance into my palettes now and see which one it is. I also really like how the inside pops out and it's so much easier to rearrange...!
My habit of palettes is to grab one and a few shadows, and just start filling it up. I feel like it works out better for me that way, since I don't have $145ish to spend on a palette every time (that is with PRO discount. They are normally $230 USD? Or $215).
I decided this will be my "wedding" palette, so I started with very soft colours. I got Dazzlelight x2, Vapor, and Digit. I will be adding soft browns and a darker brown or two, as well as a soft black, and a regular black, as well as some soft pinks and creams.
They also recently launched a couple new brushs, and I've been so drawn to the 163. I think it is so versatile and awesome! I'm probably going to have to grab at least 2 more. I definitely see it as an awesome contour and highlight brush, and I think it would be really awesome with cream, wax, clay, or liquid foundations.
Since it is easier and more sanitary for me to just melt down my lipsticks into pots, I decided I really just needed to get a classic and staple for anyone. Snob is one of the best selling lipsticks at MAC. It's absolutely superb for any skin tone, in my opinion.
I've worked with MAC's paints before, and I quite liked them as bases. I got Bare Canvas today, since I think it will work universally for many skin tones.
Moving on, here is my outfit. I got many compliments on it, my makeup, and my hair, and that was very nice, since I really tend to be shy and self-conscious.
